Developing Balance – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

SXSW is one of my favorite music festivals because you get to experience different bands from all around the world who are trying to get discovered. Literally everywhere you turn there is live music playing in the most unlikely places. You will stumble upon unique tunes in sandwich shops, gas stations, hat stores and more.

I spent this past Thursday and Friday hopping around to all the free day parties and it was so much fun to experience the huge variety of music from hip hop and bounce to country, R&B and rock. Although I had my favorite genres, I made an effort to be open to a range of sounds and performances I normally would not seek. As I experienced music from around the world, I noticed I embraced more balance in the music I enjoyed.

The key to feeling good is to bring balance into every aspect of your life. When you are open to discovering all the magic this life has to offer, you naturally move into a state-of-balance. What new things are you open to experiencing? What part of your life could use a little more balance?
