My mind has been on overdrive lately. Between all the energy I have been focusing on publishing my book, planning an event, getting my dad’s affairs in order since his passing, and regular work and family stuff, I feel like I am in a whirlwind. There is so much stimuli coming at me all at once.
If you have ever had a lot on your mind, then you can relate to waking up at 4 am with an endless to-do list running through your head. Lately, I have found that I am having a hard time getting to sleep or staying asleep for this reason.
If you are experiencing any sense of overwhelm, then join me for this special Yin Yoga session to calm the chaos and just breathe.
This week’s 20-minute Yin Yoga Class, Yoga for Calming the Mind, is all about relaxing the monkey mind and calming the nervous system. Through forward fold postures like Pigeon pose and Bound Angle Pose and breath work that focuses on the exhale, we will calm the mind and the body. Yoga with Meditation Mutha is for everyBODY. Please join me in this opportunity to reduce stress and bring yourself back into a centered state-of-being. Enjoy!
