Setting Intention

The past couple of weeks have been extremely busy. As the Fall Women’s Weekend Wellness Retreat approached, I found myself jumping into preparation mode. An endless list of to-do’s to get ready for this special experience made the day zoom by and I found myself wondering how the day passed so quickly.

Tasks aka distractions have the ability to move you into autopilot as you complete one undertaking after the other. Awareness goes down the drain as your focus is finishing your list of jobs, not the job itself. This inability to be present nabs away the opportunity to deeply experience everything you do.

One way to be more in the moment is to bring intention into everything you do. Giving a small thought of gratitude for having a meal to eat and dishes to clean after dinner or pausing to invite an intention into your yoga practice brings you into the hear and now. When you welcome intention into your life, you open up the opportunity to experience things fully.

This week’s yoga class will assist in inviting intention into your life.

YOGA FOR SETTING INTENTION

This week’s 18-minute Hatha Yoga Class, Yoga for Setting Intention, is all about incorporating mindfulness into our practice and our daily lives. Bringing awareness to all aspects of our breath and movement we will practice yoga intentionally. Yoga with Meditation Mutha is for everyBODY.
