Good Digestion While Traveling – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

It’s travel season again and there are so many fun destinations to explore. I have a few local and international adventures planned for myself this summer.

Does this ever happen to you when you travel? I’m not sure if its due to the pressure from the airplane, new foods or different water, but often when I travel my digestion gets thrown off. My processes start to slow down and my belly goes into halt mode.

When your gut is off it can make you feel physically and mentally uncomfortable. When you can’t poop you get cranky. That is because 90% of your serotonin (happy hormones) are produced in your gut. A happy belly is a happy mind.

Therefore, it is important to balance your gut, especially when traveling. One of the easiest things you can do is take a daily probiotic, although not all probiotics are the same quality.
