Living in Gratitude – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

The holidays are upon us and with that we often hear suggestions of cultivating gratitude for all of the gifts we receive in our lives. Although Thanksgiving is a great reminder to have appreciation for the abundance we experience, gratitude is not a seasonal thing saved just for the holidays.

Living in gratitude is a lifestyle where we choose to pause and acknowledge the incredible resources, relationships and opportunities we are gifted on a daily basis. We take time to show appreciation for the little things like a comforting warm drink in the morning, the hot water running over our skin in the shower or a smile from a stranger. We openly tell people how much we love them and how much they mean to us.

We live in an abundant world. When we exist in the high vibrational state of gratitude, the universe responds by providing an infinite amount of resources to support our success. Living in gratitude is one of the easiest ways to significantly enhance your overall well-being. Try a little gratitude on for size and see how this high energy emotion effects your life.

Speaking of gratitude, I want to give a special shout out to my sweet daughter Kayla, who is turning sixteen today. I am so grateful for this sassy, witty, compassionate, loving, brilliant being who chose me to be her mom. Her radiance is a shining light in my life and I have so much appreciation for the beautiful being she has become. Happy birthday KK!
