January puts us right in the middle of the winter season for self-contemplation. A time when we draw inward to reflect on who we are today and how we want to show up to the world.
For some of us, pondering our purpose can be a challenging task. Why? Because for many, we tend to be our own worst critic. Our self-talk leans towards focusing on lack. Language like “I’m too…” or “I’m not good at…” (fill in the blank) engrosses our thoughts when we sit in silence to figure out our intentions for this life.
If you catch your mind stuck in a loop of negative dialogue, it may help to refocus your attention on a little self-love. Just a few minutes of internal affirmation and encouragement is incredibly powerful. Your mind and body have an immediate positive response to acts of self-love. Existing in the highest vibrational state of LOVE will inspire you to use your natural born gifts in endless possible ways.
