The holidays can be a challenging time for many people, especially if you have lost a loved one recently. I am experiencing some sadness, as this is the first holiday season after the passing of my dad.
Losing someone that is close to me reminds me that every minute is so precious. Therefore, I am going to make great efforts during upcoming festive gatherings with friends and family to be present with the people I love.
Turning off distractions likes phones or the television and instead, engaging in meaningful conversation creates connection. Pausing to absorb the moment, even if it not the perfect family dynamics, helps to imprint beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. And in the end, reflecting on memorable moments is what fills your cup.
This week’s yoga class will open the entire upper body so you can embrace the moments more fully. Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
