    Recovering from Illness the Woo Woo Way – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

    It’s been a rough week in the Goyette household.  My daughter, Kayla, got bombarded with a severe case of the flu.  High fever, chills, loss of appetite and total lethargy rocked this poor girl’s world for days.

    Luckily, her wacky mama was to the rescue.  An outside observer might call me a witch, as I lured Kayla into drinking my brew of ginger tea, lemon, honey and apple cider vinegar.  Then of course a good smudging to reduce bacteria in the air.  And finally, a tea tree oil infused mist to cleanse the air and everything my sick baby touched.

    I don’t want to jinx anything, but I firmly believe that a double daily dose of apple cider vinegar, probiotics and obsessive hand washing kept me healthy after being highly exposed to germ saturated snot rags, direct hacking and close quarter cuddling.

    This week’s 17-minute FREE Floor, Hatha yoga class, Yoga for Recovering from Illness, is all about creating the best conditions within the body for a speedy recuperation from sickness. Through energy work, heart openers, strap work, pranayama and visualization, you will intentionally accelerate your recovery.
