Led by husband and wife team Scott and Kim Goyette, this Costa Rica Yoga Retreat is where you will indulge all your senses with daily yoga, meditation and life inspiring sessions.
Your bliss experience includes luxury, shared eco-accommodations, 3-organic meals per day, infinity salt water pool, waterfall hike, circus performance and celebration. Choose to add-on a rejuvenating yoga package taking classes on a deck overlooking a breathtaking 270 degree view of the ocean. Customize Your Retreat Experience When You Arrive with These A-La-Carte Add-Ons:
Circus Performance and Dance Party – this is the celebration we do at the end of the retreat where we have local and staff talent performances and then a chance to get your dance groove on! It’s free for all guests and always a great experience.
Yoga Classes – We offer 1.5 hr Vinyasa Flow classes 6 mornings a week and 1 hr Yin/Restorative classes 4 afternoons a week, for $12/each. If you do 8 the last 2 are free. $96 for 10 classes
Private Yoga – One-on-one lesson $85 per session.
Salsa Class – Dance Lesson (weekly if available). 1 hr for $12. (5 person minimum)
Cooking Class – Learn to cook Costa Rican food Anamaya style. 1 hr for $12. (5 person minimum)
Spanish Class – Basic fun Spanish lesson. 1 hr for $12. (5 person minimum)
Tortuga Island Snorkeling Boat Tour – Enjoy a lovely boat ride from the Montezuma beach 45 minutes to the famous island. You have 2 spots to snorkel near the island, lunch and chill time on the island, then return on the boat. Guests often see exotic wildlife. It leaves at 9am returns at 4pm (includes lunch) for $55. This is available every day with no minimum number of guests.
Zipline Canopy Tour – Available 2 times a day. It’s about 2.5hrs for $50. It’s conveniently right next to Anamaya and has 9 zipline cables across 13 platforms. It can be a great way to enjoy the jungle and wildlife. The guided tour will have a stop at the upper Montezuma waterfall pools for a refreshing swim.
Biolumenessence Boat Trip – The Curu National Wildlife Refuge offers and unforgettable afternoon/evening experience of kayaking or swimming/snorkeling with bioluminescent plankton. You leave Anamaya at 4 pm and return at 8:30 pm. $50/person, plus transportation (price varies by number of people). You can go earlier and enjoy a hike in the park if you’d like.
Surf Lesson – Beginner or Intermediate. Enjoy a 40-minute beach and jungle hike to a remote pristine beach called Playa Grande. The trip is about 3-hours and the times are dependent on the tides. $50 which includes board rental. The boards will already be at the beach!
Surf Lesson at Playa Hermosa – Beginner or Intermediate (50 min drive) . The trip is about 3-hours total and is $60 with board rental. No hike necessary.
Surf Board Rental – For experienced surfers. $15-$25
Scuba Certification – Four pool dives, 3 beach dives and 1 deep ocean dive and boat trip with lunch. The price for this is $390.
Horseback Riding – Beach or Hills+Waterfall. 2-4 hours $40-60
Butterfly Garden – Next door down the hill from Anamaya. 1hr for $8.
Beach Excursion – Sunset Beach Trip to Playa Hermosa. With a stop and tour of our organic farm. Depart at 1pm on Wednesday returning at 7pm for $20.
Waterfall Hike – The famous Montezuma waterfalls are just out our back door. We have our own private entrance. You can go anytime you’d like and there is no charge.
Spa Services – Definitely a huge part of the Anamaya experience and a wonderful way to relax and restore. We have pretty much any type you could imagine.

The stunning Anamaya Resort is located in the quaint beach town of Montezuma, Costa Rica. Located on a mountainside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the resort offers breathtaking views, serene yoga decks, sunning patios, an infinity pool and spa, and private living cabinas scattered throughout the property. With the Pacific Ocean in the front yard, the rain forest and waterfalls in the backyard, you will never grow tired of your beautiful surroundings.
Travel Here
There are direct flights to San Jose or Liberia, Costa Rica from most major airports. After you arrive in San Jose or Liberia Airport in Costa Rica, you have several options by plane to get to the remote area of Montezuma from San Jose. The most direct is taking a small plane on Sansa Airlines or Nature Air from San Jose or Liberia to Cobano. Once you land in Cobano, Anamaya can arrange a private taxi to pick you up and take you strait to the resort. It is a 15 minute drive.
