yoga for flu recovery

A Practice in Quick Sickness Recovery – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

Well, I personally know about 20 different people including myself who got hit hard over Thanksgiving with some type of flu. At first I thought it was allergies because I started losing my voice. Then came extreme congestion, body aches and a cough. I dosed myself with Zinc and Elderberry and drank lots of fluids which helped a little, but for some reason I could not kick the congestion and exhaustion.

Often, when you have a cold it can get stuck in your system and linger for longer than you would desire. Your lymph system is designed to “clean” your body of ailment, but it needs physical movement in order to operate properly. Since it does not naturally move on its own, it needs to be stimulated with physical touch to drain sickness from the body and begin the recovery process.

I thought this weeks yoga practice, Yoga for Sickness Recovery, would be a short routine in kick starting the lymph system, so you can get on the road to wellness. Enjoy!
