    Finding the Magic – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

    Last week I headed up to Fayetteville with my husband and my daughter to check out University of Arkansas. We were blown away by how much natural beauty is in the northwest part of the state.

    We caught the end of the fall colors as the maple trees were shedding their brilliant auburn red leaves. We rode bikes for miles on a path that weaved through flowing creeks with the cool air on our skin. And, we walked through town at a farmer’s market sipping on hot apple cider. It was a true autumn experience and needed reset after the emotionally intense week prior.

    The entire weekend we were out in nature and I noticed the calming effect that it had on my body and mind. I love the meme that has been going around that says something like “If you want to know how awful the world is watch the news. If you want to know how magical the world is step out in nature.” Spending time in nature as much as possible is great medicine for unwinding the nervous system.
