    Opening to Possibility – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

    Whenever I prepare for holding a retreat I make general plans of how I want the experience to flow. Over the years I have learned to leave plenty of room for flexibility and flow, because change is inevitable. Many times I think I am going to teach a lesson on a particular topic or do a special exercise and the vibe of the group takes us in a whole different direction.

    What I have learned is to not cling to the details and let the universe fill in all of the magic. She has a much grander imagination than I do and delivers 100X bigger than I could ever dream.

    The same holds true when I attend retreats and workshops. I arrive with no expectations and put full faith that the universe will provide the resources and experiences to support my growth and personal journey.

    When we release control of the outcome we may find ourselves in a more powerful present moment.

    This week’s 17 minute Yin Yoga Class, Yoga for Heart Openers, is all about using props to relax the chest and shoulder muscles and expand the heart.
