The Yoga and Safari Retreat at Jet Lag Relief in Tanzania, Africa was such a powerful and surreal experience. It is always challenging for me to transition back home after the high vibrational experience of teaching an international retreat. After being gone for almost three weeks, I jumped right back into work, taking care of the house and paying bills. A slightly different vibe than being out in the middle of the Serengeti surrounded by exotic animals.
The hardest part about coming home is the serious jet lag I have been experiencing. The nine-hour time difference from Austin to Africa does not help either. For the past several days following my arrival back, I could barely make it to 8 pm before passing out into a deep sleep. Finding myself waking up at 3 am in the morning is no fun either. I have been loopy walking around like a zombie. Luckily, with each passing day, I feel better and better.
