    Slow Down and Breathe – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

    This week I had an incredible opportunity to teach yoga in Turks and Caicos. The beautiful crystal blue water and white sand beaches got into my veins and relaxed my spirit at the soul level. The chill island vibes reminded me to slow down and just breathe.

    So often we are in “Do” mode rolling from one thing to the other that we forget to breathe. The breath is a powerful tool that can regulate our nervous system, relax our body and mind, increase oxytocin and enhance our mood.

    So, instead of pushing through your yoga practice to get to the next thing on your to-do list, come join me for this week’s Slow Flow Yoga and allow your movement to surrender to the relaxed rhythm of your breath. Enjoy!
