    Staying Healthy throughout Your Life – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

    It is so important to take an intentional break to reset your body, mind and spirit. Our week retreat at Anamaya Resort in Costa Rica provided the perfect backdrop to invigorate every aspect of self.

    The farm-to-table, mindfully prepared meals were a great way to nourish the soul from the inside out. Connection with the stunning nature of the jungle and the ocean was an excellent source to get grounded and slow down. And, the twice daily yoga allowed an opportunity to deeply care for every part of the human experience.

    Stretching is a powerful tool that can assist in maintaining mobility throughout your entire life. As we age, muscles and tendons lose the ability to stay hydrated and pliable, becoming tight and more prone to injury. Deep stretching allows the muscles to lengthen, creating an opportunity for fresh blood to flow and provide nourishment to the area. This reduces aches and pains and keeps your muscles and tendons healthy.
