Celebrating a Festival of Lights – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

Tis’ the Season for a commemoration of lights! Many native traditions and religions celebrate in the month of December by igniting candles or stringing festive illuminations throughout the home and yard to brighten the darkest days of the year. These rituals are weaved into cultures all around the world to light up the lives of all.

Light is a form of energy and WE are made of energy. Therefore, when we elevate our energy we magnify the light within us.

We are very familiar with our physical body; the one we can feel and touch. But, we often miss awareness of our energetic body, which lies below the surface of our skin and fills up every cell of our being.

Our energetic body plays an important role in our mood, health and overall well-being. When we are stagnant in our lives, our energy gets blocked in areas of the body and we may feel sluggish, sad or sick.

Activating and circulating energy within the body elevates mood, increases vibrance and prevents ailment. We might experience a healthy energetic body as a tingling, buzzing or heat swirling within our system.
