Spring is one of my favorite seasons because everything is coming to life. There is so much magic in the garden with all of the plants peaking their heads out from the earth as the light starts to overcome the dark.
This time of year is a minimalist’s dream because it brings a sense of cleansing. Tidying the house by donating things that no longer serve you and preparing the yard for all of the growth to come are some ways to honor the season of new beginnings.
As we emerge from the colder months of winter, it is also important to do some spring cleaning for the body and the mind. Incorporating outdoor exercise is a great way to move stagnant energy that has accumulated in your system during a sluggish time of the year. In addition, it is a great opportunity to wake up the mind from its hibernation.
Breath of Fire aka Skull Shining Breath aka Kapalabhati (in Sanskrit) is an excellent tool to move blocked energy in your system, enliven your cells and elevate your vibration. Scroll down and come join me for this week’s five minute Breath of Fire practice and wake up your soul from the inside out!
