Exercising your core is more than just looking good for bikini season. Your core, which includes your abdominals, obliques and the muscles in the entire back body, help to stabilize you in your daily movement. When your core is strong you are less susceptible to tweaking your back and you can enjoy doing all the things you love in your life.
One of my favorite things that brings me so much joy is partner dancing. Whether it is two-stepping, salsa, swing or lindy hop, I absolute love the feeling of being twirled and spun to the rhythms of each theme. Lately, my low back was feeling a little tight from all the dipping. So, I decided to focus on strengthening my core so I could stabilize my body more effectively during these types of moves. And it worked perfectly! No more low back pain.
