    Get into Your Groove – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

    Yes, I am a 70’s girl through and through! I love Jiffy Pop Popcorn, The Electric Company, Roller Skates, Hula Hoops, Life Cereal and DISCO! Disco runs through my veins and is one of my favorite genres of music because it’s so upbeat and happy.

    That is why when my friend Gabi invited me to a 70’s disco themed gala last weekend I was all in! It was so fun to be surrounded by all of the bell bottoms, sequins, afros and glitzy costumes as we danced to popular tunes of the times.

    The music from this era really lights me up and gets my booty shake’in. Each of us has our own genre of songs that make us happy and inspire us to sing in the shower and dance in the car.

    This type of music has a very positive effect on our mood and well-being. Music we love actually increases the vibration of each one of our cells, energizing our body and mind. So next time you are feeling tired or down, try listening to your favorite tunes and feel your spirit soar!
