    Calming the Nervous System – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

    If you have an inkling of empath characteristics in you, then you may be feeling a little out of sorts lately.  Empaths feel and typically take on the energy that surrounds them.  And, considering the undertone of the entire planet right now, there is plenty of energy to absorb.

    Many empaths find themselves feeling exhausted, sad, angry etc. and they do not understand why.  In their gut, they know that the emotions they are sensing are not coming from an internal source.  But, they still experience them as if they were their own.

    This can be challenging if you do not know how to zip up and protect yourself from energy drains.  But, being an empath can also be an incredible gift.  Having the ability to feel what someone else is feeling lets you walk in their shoes, even for a moment.  And this is the best way to develop compassion and appreciation for ALL living beings.
