    Getting in Your Groove – Yoga with Meditation Mutha

    Well, we made it!  One full year around the world, CHECK. We touched down in Boston on our way back to Austin to see some friends and family and headed strait for Londi’s to get a North Shore Roast Beef Sandwich, CHECK.  Ahhhh, the comforts of home!

    There are so many benefits to long-term, world travel.  But, getting in your groove isn’t one of them.  Moving from place to place all the time makes it almost impossible to establish a routine.  Add in the time change, language barrier and 81-different “homes” in one year and you can only imagine how good it felt to pull out of Logan International Airport and pass 18 Dunkin Donuts on our way to my sister in-law, Jess’ house.

    As we stood in Whole Foods, my husband Scott’s favorite store, I overheard him say “This may be the best day ever.”  I was checking out and actually laughed out loud because it was so easy.  No mental calculations of money conversions or trying to maneuver the credit card machine in a foreign language.  There’s something to be said about familiarities.

    Surrounding yourself with things that you are accustomed to can help you get grounded and back to yourself. This weeks 11-minute FREE Hatha Flow Class, Yoga for Getting in Your Groove, is all about getting back into the flow of your life.
