Tapping Into Wisdom

My Grandma Shirley often said it was always better to have street smarts than book smarts.  I think she was referring to someone being wise vs. being intelligent.  Do you know the difference?

Smart people are often found gathering up as much information and facts as possible and regurgitating the data back out to the world without every truly processing its meaning or impact.

Where as, wise people absorb input from the world through all of their senses and pause for a time to contemplate how the data makes them feel in their body and mind.  Then, they use that feedback to make educated decisions about their response to the stimuli.

Now, more than ever, we can not allow our emotions to trigger a reaction to junk stated on social media, in the news and in politics.  Now, more than ever, we need to tap into our inner wisdom to decipher information, instead of interrupting our own natural process with blanket statements and accusations.  Now more than ever, we need clarity instead of chaos.  Now more than ever, we need to get quiet and listen to our inner voice.

This week’s 20-minute FREE Yin Yoga Class, Yoga for Tapping Into Wisdom, is all about getting quiet so we can tune into our inner guidance. Through postures such as Pigeon Pose and Anahata Heart Openers we will create space for our intuition to flow. Yoga with Meditation Mutha is for everyBODY.
