REFLECTING ON OUR INNER AND OUTER WORLDS – YOGA WITH MEDITATION MUTHA

This picture was taken eleven years ago at the very first retreat I held in Costa Rica. I love the image because it captures the physical body and the exact mirror image of its shadow side.

In each of us exists a dark side. At times, when our darkness appears, we often blame external sources for the cause. But, if we reflect on our internal emotional state, we may find the reason for our worldly problems.

What we experience in our outer world is a direct reflection of what is happening in our inner world. If chaos seems to follow you wherever you go, pause to reflect on the condition of your inner being. Take a moment to sooth your spirit through breathwork, yoga or other self-regulating tools and you may find that your outer challenging experiences dissipate naturally.

This week’s yoga class will provide an opportunity to reflect on the current condition of your inner and outer state.

This week’s 17-minute Hatha Flow Class, Yoga for Inner Reflection, is all about contemplating your inner state of being.
